A good day at Camping Village Fabulous

Our plan on the 17th may and last day in Rome was to have a lazy morning and then a trip by 3 public transport modes out to the Apian way - a park area that is a section of old roman road. We got ourselves organised and were grabbing sun hats when we paused to think about just how hot it was. 37deg. Crazy, why would we want to go stand around waiting for buses and walking in sunny parks in this heat, so we abandoned the idea and slipped into our togs and set off to find the pool at camping village fabulous. This was a huge complex, complete with a trillion deck chairs awaiting the crowds during "summer", life guards, disco sounds and afternoon entertainment.
