Home Day

At Home Day

Travelling is very busy, and just occasionally you need an "at home day" to take a breather, catch up on washing and just relax. Heather and I were quite excited about our itinerary free day, sleep in, swim and lunch out. It was such a beautiful spot, still at Camping Semifonte, and actually it took us all day just to tidy the camper, Skype the kids, update blogs and plan travel itineraries for the last few days in Italy.
We also strolled up to the local village center, not realising it was another typical tiny miniature old world town, enclosed with a high wall and two tiny lanes of homes and a few stores and restaurants. Including the typical scene of an elderly lady leaning out of her top flat watching the day's activities. Had a delicious lunch, dining on artichoke risotto, mushroom spaghetti, and a nice red from the area. We treated ourselves again later for dinner, which was equally as good and followed by the most devine pannacotta.
